first worktrip

When Hibiki flew off to the other side of the world in the opening scenes of AXZ, I was SOOO worried that Miku would just be absent for the entire season. My head was just filled with ideas of Hibiki missing Miku and Miku missing Hibiki that I could draw, but luckily they came back to Japan by episode 3 and I breathed a huge sigh of relief. I didn't end up drawing any of those ideas, but I feel like this idea was kinda spun off from that. She might not look like it, but the show itself has shown us that Hibiki is very affected by her past traumas. Though this one might appear smaller scale and insignificant, because it's with Miku specifically, its impact is long-lasting.

I used the perspective tool extensively for this one. There were also a few panels where I drew Hibiki way too big (in the shoulders AND in the chest) so I tried to dial that down.

I actually did draw Hibiki in the cut-off panel, but it was always gonna be framed like that. Honestly, I would've preferred to have it cut off more, but I DID put in the work ^^;;; The full-ish panel below.
