I originally planned for them to be in the hallways, but that was BEFORE I looked at the settei and realized you can't really sit in those hallways?? There's no benches or anything... But then the lounge is so dark and poorly lit, I just stuffed them back in the hallway. All the while, not being very committal with drawing of the actual background.
