I've been waiting for this.

Obviously I'm working towards Ep32 so I wanted Haruka to confess before then. I could've left things vague and just suddenly had them hooking up in Ep32 but that's personally very boring for me. I also feel I've already done that before with KareKuru?? and I feel there's been so much build-up from the very beginning that I can't really stall it. Haruka knows what she wants at this point and she's nothing if not persistent.

I've clearly written Minami as being attracted to Haruka from the start but she was willing to write it off as platonic affection. There's something to unpack there. She could also be the type of person to not develop romantic feelings for someone until she gets to know them better. Haruka's words really flips that script she was working off of on its head and forces her to confront her feelings head-on—probably much sooner than she would have liked. For Haruka the stakes were pretty high tho so I don't blame her.
