ep43 preview gave me hope

Look, I understand that this is a kid's show so it's not like they'll ACTUALLY make a GL ship canon but they've been building up Saaya's side so much that I really thought that something would come out of it. But nothing 😑 Just a single conversation and that's it. Not even the decency to have it stretch out a few episodes. Why did I get myself into this dumb ship.

As for the comic itself, I think Saaya just wants Homare to open up to her. As long as she can become someone to whom Homare can lay out her feelings, that's enough for her. ...This dumb ship.
