Cristina Yang (March 27, 2005 - May 15, 2014)

The friendship between these two women was what enticed me to embark on the (then) 172-episode-long series. It was well worth it.

Flash-forward 48 episodes and Cristina has left Seattle Grace, left her person, to spread her wings an ocean away.

I don't know if Grey's will be able to fill the void that Sandra Oh has left, that Meredith and Cristina have left, but it was a great ride regardless.
