Saki and Nodoka

I feel like this picture really changed the trajectory of my life. It was posted in the Saki /u/ thread I frequented as the show was airing, and people just ragged on it. I was shaken and very nearly quit arting altogether. But once that initial shock wore off, I got angry and was determined to improve and show all their asses up. That's also the reason why there's such a style shift between 0047 and 0057.

I'm glad I had the clarity of mind to screenshot the comment at the time. It was a real turning point.

I think part of it was because I had a friend who hyped it up so much at the time. To get that huge reality check by strangers online... It was an experience lol.
